2007 Reverdy Sancerre Terre de Maimbray Review

This is succulent pinot noir light bodied pinot noir from the Sancerre region in the Loire Valley. Sancerre is predominately known for their production of sauvignon blanc, which accounts for 80% of the production. The aromas are extraordinary; with smells of a fruity smells of a sauvignon blanc as well as minerality. There are fruity hints of cherry, raspberry, and gooseberry. When it came to pinot noir, I used to love Red Burgundy's, but this bottle is completely different from any other pinot I've had from France. That's a good thing. If you ever want to impress someone this is a bottle you must buy. Everyone should try to find this bottle!
