2007 Santa Julia Organica Chardonnay Review

I was never fond of chardonnay when I first started drinking wine. That all changed when I tried a bottle from Chablis. What made this bottle so different was this wine was fermented without oak. This allowed the subtle flavor and aromas of this noble grape to finally shine. I don't always drink chardonnay, but when I do, I prefer it to be unoaked. I had to steal the line from the Dos Equis guy.

The 2007 Santa Julia Chardonnay is a refreshing and crisp unoaked chardonnay with hints of lemon, green apple, and tropical fruits. Priced under $10, this is perfect for anyone on a wine budget.

4 out of 5 corks.
