About Me (The Cork Dork)

Hello family, friends, and soon to be new friends. My name is Matt Commins. My full name is Matthew Commins, but I don't like being called by my full name. I'm actually the only one in my family who does that. Weird.

This is a blog about wine and anything else interesting. So how did I get int wine? I caught the bug about three years ago when I would go wine tasting after work with my fellow colleauges on Thursday's at K&L (the best online store for wine). I'm not going to romanticize about my inital excursions into wine as an attempt to try the beauty and complexity of wine. I went to get a buzz before I took the train home.

I'm not an expert and I'm not trying to be. I'm expressing my opinions and I hope you have a laugh and/or learn something too.
